Meet the Founder
Karema Akilah is a former public school teacher who has been UNschooling her 6 children for the past 23 years. Now that most of them are adults, she is creating The Genius School for other kids to experience freedom and joy as they learn and discover their purpose!

Geniī Without Walls is a self-directed, community-powered experience for teens — meeting weekly in coffee shops, food halls, libraries and parks (when it’s warmer) across Atlanta; not just to learn, but to grow into who they are.
This isn’t a traditional school day.
This is Geniī Without Walls; a self-directed learning experience where teens do two things: 90 minute Collab Studios (student led interest groups) & 90 minute 5 Pillar Invitations.
