  • The Genius School is an UNschooling, Self Directed Learning community meeting online and in person in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Some families use our private school option, others join for the student led interest groups & parenting support!

  • It’s a private school that allows parents to educate their children at home. Parents choose the style of education and the kind of curriculum including real world experiences.

  • A letter of enrollment, UNschooling coaching, GENIE app, 5 Pillar Invitation coaching and Discord access for your Learners, opportunity to participate in virtual shared interests with other Learners.

  • Attend a Zoom meeting and complete the registration form with payment.

    • Platform- $15.75 /month per Learner to access the Geniīverse (transaction fee included).

    • Tuition- $87.77/month per family (transaction fee included). 

    • Marketplace (Outschool style courses)- If you choose to take any Marketplace courses those fees are set by teachers

  • No, you will not need to submit any notification to your state. Students enrolled in a virtual school are not subject to homeschool law because they are considered private school students.

  • You will create a profile on our GENIE app, using the same email you registered with. We will log onto the GENIE app as “EVALUATOR,” using that same email to view all submissions made visible to the evaluator. Use GENIE to create high school transcripts.

  • No, legally your student is enrolled in The Genius School as a private school student, thus meeting the legal requirement of mandatory education, however you are providing ALL of the instruction (minus any online course) and using our GENIE app to document and record learning.

  • NO, you may be a registered homeschooler in your state and still enroll with us! $85 per FAMILY per MONTH is the membership subscription fee with or without a letter of private school enrollment.

  • LOL, no! (We get this a lot from parents) Gather Town is a unique 2D virtual metaverse with Avatars. When two or more people are standing close to each other, we can see and hear each other. When we walk away, we can’t. Just like in real life! We created our Geniīverse University with a large building with multiple classrooms, an auditorium and lots of “outdoor” space.
